Cartoon Yourself Project

Cartoon Yourself Project
For this project, I took a photo of myself and then I opened it in Photoshop. I lined it and colored it before adding shading and lighting to it. I then added a background of Pusheen (pretty cute, eh?) and added background shading.

And below it is the original! ^^

Cartoon Masterpiece Project

Cartoon Masterpiece Project
This masterpiece was created by the ever-talented Michelangelo! It's called "The Creation Of Adam" and is very beautiful. It was a fresco on the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel in c. 1508–1512. I first downloaded the painting and then opened it in Photoshop Elements 10. I added characters' heads from the hit TV show," My Little Pony:Friendship Is Magic". I lined it and colored it before adding shading using a new brush I found out about just recently, the WaterColor Brush and it makes the characters look realistic, yet, cartoonish! I then added the background and shaded it.

And below it is the original masterpiece! 0u0

Scream Project Part 2

Scream Project Part 2
This is the second part of my Scream project. I took a picture of myself and opened it up in Photoshop Elements 10. I selected my face and arms, and cropped everything else out. I added shading and lighting the same way as before. I tried to make it look as real as possible.

The original masterpiece is the Scream Project 1!

Scream Project Part 1

Scream Project Part 1For my Scream Project, I first downloaded a large version of the original "Scream" painting before opening it in Photoshop Elements 10. I then lined it and colored in my painting. I added shading using the blending modes "Multiply" and " Linear Burn". I added lighting using "Screen" and "Linear Dodge (Add)".

Mona Lisa Project

Mona Lisa Project
For my Mona Lisa Project, I first dragged a large size of the "Mona Lisa" onto my desktop. I then opened it in Photoshop Elements 10. I unlocked the layer and added a new layer and lined my drawing using a 3 pt. brush size in black. I continued to color my drawing and shade it using the "multiply" and "Linear Burn" blending modes to make Mona Lisa look realistic. I added some finishing touches before adding an HD background. I applied a sunset because I thought that it would be the perfect setting. I added "Screen" and "Linear Dodge (Add)" to make the sun look brighter behind her back.
